Cakes should be stored in the fridge right up until the day of the event. We normally reccomend taking it out of the fridge 2-3 hours before serving so that it can come to room temperature and be the perfect consistancy for you to eat.

Please make sure that the cake is not left in the sun or out of the fridge for too long before serving. This can cause the cake to melt and potentially start falling/collapsing especially in the warmer months.

When transporting cakes, always make sure the aircon is on cold and the cake is kept level at all times. (We recomend putting it in the boot of the car or in the footwell of the front seat, which ever is bigger depending on your car) Try keep travel time to a minimum 30-40 minutes MAX, this will ensure your cake arrives safely at its destination.
